Like a vision of the Virgin Mary appearing in the mold growing on a slice of stale bread, my Digital Impressionism project was not so much a carefully constructed work of art but more a chance discovery down the back of the sofa. It had been growing for a number of years before I realised.

I inherited my love of photography from my father, Mike. I cannot remember a time when he was not carrying a camera and, likewise, I can’t remember when I did not either. My earliest memories are of him with his twin-lens Rolleiflex and me with a Kodak Pocket Instamatic.
